We collect other information. If you use our mobile app, we may collect information about the device you’re using. For example, we may collect device IDs and your GPS location. We might look at how often you use the app and where you downloaded it. We collect this information using the tracking tools described below.   We collect information in different ways.

We collect information directly from you. For example, if you register on our platform or add a vehicle. We also collect information if you contact us or request a quote.  We may also collect information if you upload images or allow us to use your device camera.

 

We collect information from you passively. We might also collect information from our mobile apps like device identifiers. We may have third parties collect information this way. We get information about you from third parties. For example, our business partners may give us information about you. We may also get information from you from dealers you have visited. Social media platforms may also give us information about you.

We may share information with Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc. and its affiliates.

 

We will share information with third parties who perform services on our behalf. For example, we share information with vendors who operate our apps or provide analytics. 

 

We may share your information with our business partners. These partners may send you information about events and products by mail or email.

 

We may share information with third parties for marketing purposes. These third parties may include our promotional and marketing partners and dealers. They may also include third parties in whose products or services we believe you may be interested. These third parties may also share your information with others. Your platform may give you the ability to control cookies or other tracking tools.  How you do so depends on the type of tool that you use.  Certain platforms can be set to reject cookies.  You will also have to redo your opt-out choice if you use a different computer, browser, or a different device. Our Do Not Track Policy: Some devices have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a device not to track you. These features are not all uniform. Our platform currently does not respond to those signals.  If you block cookies, certain features on our platform may not work.  If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.

 

You can control tools on your mobile devices. For example, you can reject certain permissions requests posed by this platform. You can also turn off the GPS locator or push notifications on your phone. You can also revoke certain permissions you provided the app.

 

You can uninstall the mobile application. You can stop all collection of information by the app easily by uninstalling the application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

 

  These sites and apps are not intended for children.

Our platforms where this policy is found are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without permission from a parent or guardian. Information we maintain may be within the United States. If you live outside of the United States, you understand and agree that we may transfer your information to the United States. This site is subject to U.S. laws, which may not afford the same level of protection as those in your country.

Our platform may link to third party sites that we do not control. If you click on a link to a third party site, you will be taken to a website or an app we do not control.
